Lucknow: Now people of Uttar Pradesh need not visit Lucknow just for the sake of attending Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav’s Janta Darbar to register their troubles. Soon, the Janata Darbar will be just a phone call away from the people. As the CM is going to launch a call centre to ease the people of UP and widen his reach.
The CM has decided to listen to the complaints on phone call. Looking at the huge turnout of crowd and taking lessons from the irregularities, the tech savvy CM has decided to listen to public pleas on phone calls apart from his Janta Darbar. The move will ensure the people register their grievances from far flung areas of the state without wasting their times in visiting Lucknow. People can also give suggestions regarding improvement in work process in government offices. For this the task, remodeling of the call centres set up by Samajwadi Party during the elections has started.
While talking to the reporters Rajendra Chaudhary, the SP spokesperson said, “There was a lack of communication between people and administration during the government prior to us. Therefore, the CM has opted to bring out such a service by utilising the modern technologies and bridge the gap between the people and government. The establishment of call centre is one such move in this regard.”
But masses are not amused with the move. According to the people they visit the Janta Darbar to directly register their complaint. Also the people are doubtful that their grievances will come into CM’s attention.
While talking to newzstreet.com one such common man Ramavatar said, “Janta Darbar is the best way to make sure that our grievances reach the CM and it assures us that our problems will be sorted out when we directly meet him. We are not sure if our pleas will be listened while using phone calls.”
