A call centre employee was arrested on Wednesday by Noida Police for murdering a female colleague on Holi. Faridabad police recovered the body of victim, 23-year-old Pooja Bhatia, who went missing on March 1.

Pooja’s family filed a complaint against her boss, Baljeet Singh, on March 3 and claimed he had abducted her. The Noida police checked Pooja’s phone records and found out that the two communicated regularly.

After interrogation by the Noida Police, Baljeet confessed to killing Pooja. A postmortem revealed that she had died due to drowning.

Amruta Patki and Purab Kohli were recently seen in Noida for the promotion of their film ‘Hide and Seek’ at a hotel in Sector 27.

Toll rates are to be applicable on per-kilometre basis. This decision has not gone down well with people living in areas near Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.

Former state minister Nawab Singh Nagar criticised the government’s decision and argued that the local farmers alongside the Expressway would be unable to bear the toll.

A resident of Sector 93 agreed and said, “It is unfair to make residents pay every time they get out of their houses.”

Toll rates for a car commuter is to be Rs.0.80 paisa per km while a Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) owner will have to pay Rs.1.30 paisa per km, a bus owner Rs.2.75 paisa per km, and heavy vehicle travellers will have to pay Rs.5.25 per km.

You will need:

• A friend to play hair dresser
• Newspapers
• Half a mug of water
• A head of damp hair
• Comb
• Clips

Step 1: Strip some paper

Fold the newspaper into half and tear. Fold the two torn sheets again and tear further. You’ll have four newspaper strips to work with. Repeat the process until you have atleast 12 newspaper strips.

Step 2: Roll strips

Roll the strips into long pipes and make sure that they don’t open up.

Tip: The girl getting her hair curled can take the responsibility of rolling up the paper and passing it on to her ‘hair dresser’ friend as and when she needs it.

Step 3: Comb hair

Comb your hair properly leaving no tangles in it.

Step 4: Part hair

Part a line around the back of your head from ear to ear, and clip the top section of hair up.

Step 5: Divide hair locks equally

Divide your hair locks equally so that the curls that form are also of equal size. If you try to curl too much in one go, the curls may not form. Similarly, if you take too little, your hair might end up looking frizzy. Therefore, try and take about one inch of your locks for a perfect curl.

Step 6: Wet your locks slightly

Take the selected lock of hair in one hand and dip the finger of your other hand in a bowl of water. Wet your locks slightly.

Step 6: Wrap your hair around the newspaper pipe.

Step 8: Let it stay

Leave on the newspapers for about 3 hours or even over night. You might feel a tad silly but the end results worth it!

Step 9: Remove paper

Remove the newspaper pipes from your hair. Do not comb hair but gently run your fingers through your hair.

Tip: if your curls are too tight and unsightly, don’t panic. Just run your hand over each lock of over-curled hair and smoothen it lightly. You can even damp your hands slightly to do so.

Step 10: Spray

Squirt some hair spray on to hold the style and you’re ready to flaunt your bouncy curly locks!

An FIR was registered against Yadav in 2008 by Raj Kishore Verma, a resident of Noida Sector-36, who had applied for 10 acres of land for IT Park on Noida Expressway. However, his application was rejected by Noida Authority in the final stages.
