Noida: The members of Shri Yog Vedant Seva Samiti celebrated the Valentine’s Day as Matra-Pitra Pujan Day at the Agrasen Bhawan, Sector 33 in Noida. On the occasion, they invited their parents at the bhawan and took their blessings.

National General Secretary of Hindu Mahasabha, Munna Kumar Sharma said, “Today’s youth is forgetting the cultural values of our country and running after the western culture. We all should celebrate the day as Matri-Pitri Pujan Day as the two are very important in our lives.”

 Member of RSS, Surendra Chauhan said, “Hinduism tells us to start our day with the blessings of our parents. So, there is no point in celebrating it on one single day.” he also said that the RSS don’t have problem with the Valentine’s Day but they do have problems with the public display of love.”
