Noida: Noidaites woke up to a cold and hazy morning today as dense fog was seen in the city for the first time this season.

Even as the minimum temperature moved up in the last few days and settled at 14.2 degree Celsius, the dense fog came as a pleasant surprise.

However, it led to some inconvenience as the low visibility at Metro stations caused disruption in trains’ chedules.

“This is the first time this winter that I can actually see fog, I have been waiting for winter so ling as it is November and there was no sign of cold anywhere. I am haapy that finally winters have come” says Sahbnam Khan, a reident of Noida.

For tomorrow, the Meteorological department has predicted similar weather conditions for the city. However, the official indicated that the fog might reappear in the early hours again.
