Noida: People in Noida are going all crazy when it comes to the selection of interior designer for their homes. Making the most out of the opportunity are the numerous interior designers in the city who are seeing a significant rise in the demand which is not restricted to the residential sectors in the city but also the commercial, corporate and institutions as well.

The demand for the services of interior designers is on the rise along with the population. “The business of interior designing is doing really well in the city and there is still a huge market to tap,” Rohit Shinghal managing director of V-Kan, a Noida based interior designing company said.

He added, “Demand in residential sector is mainly coming from independent houses and apartments from a small chunk.”

An interior designer could be asked to do anything from consultation, giving minor tweaks by changing the color of the walls, furniture setting, to major renovation work.

With exposure to media, people have now developed a good taste for interiors. Players in the city said that in the past five years, they have seen almost 70-80% increse in demand. The international themes in demand are the American and European styles. However, out of the two, it is the American style which is quite hot these days.
