Noida: The newly appointed, Gautam Budh Nagar District Magistrate, Hridyesh Kumar Agarwal, has urged the officials to assist revenue recovery in the district.
In his keynote address at the meeting with district officials, Hridyesh Kumar expressed concern over debtors with high percentage of dues and asked officials to gear up revenue collection, to increase district`s coffers so that money could be spent on developmental and public welfare schemes. Agarwal appealed to the officials to prepare a list of debtors in the district and recover dues in respect of the Revenue Recovery Act.
Speaking about the Total Sanitation Campaign programme in Noida, he said that the interest level of the rural population in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the villages should be encouraged. The district should be prominently visible in the race for cleanliness and hygiene and every house in the village should have a toilet. This will bring about great revolution in the health scenario in the district.
District Collector Sarabjeet Ram, Deputy District Collector Saumaya Srivastav and Assistant entertainment officer DP Patel were present in the meeting.
