Noida: Employees State Insurance Corporation Hospital (ESI Hospital) has launched its Psychiatry Department. A Psychiatrist has been appointed to look after for the same, who will look after psychologically ill patients from today onwards at Sector 24 ESI Hospital.

ESI Hospital was not facilitated with Psychiatry Dept. ever since it was established. The patients with psychological ailments were referred to Hospital Jhilmil in New Delhi. This move will bring relief to lakhs of policy holders who were referred to other hospitals earlier. A senior physician at ESI.Hospital informed that more than a dozen patients suffering from psychological disorders approach for treatment at ESI, Noida. There are other appointments in Gynecology and operation assistants which will increase efficiency of ESI.

After the new Model hospital got inaugurated, the ESI seems keen for new appoints and work at full efficiency. All the new recruitments are being made on 1year contract and it may be extended further if ESI management feel contended with their service.
