Noida: The district authority has ordered the filling of FIR against 42 officers on Sunday as they did not report to the election duty training programme. Several officers were found absent during the training period from February 3 to 8.

Chief development officer, Pawan Kumar said, “As it amounts to obstruction in election work as per the law, I have ordered FIR against 42 personnels, Around 249 presiding election officers were found absent during their training period from February 3 to 8, without giving any ground for their absence. The officers were given a last chance to report on Saturday. Only 207 personnels reported at the CDO office, but, 42 were still found to be absent.”
