Noida: The city residents have got much relief after the opening of Rajnigandha Crossing today as they can easily travel from the Sector 1 towards Atta without any detours or diversions as well as from Sector 15 towards Sectors 19, 27 and 29.

The opening of the junction is now ready to ease connectivity with Sector 15, 16, Film City, Atta Peer and the DND flyway. The crossing serves as the intersection point of Sectors 3, 14, 17 and 19 and is one of the busiest junctions.

Newzstreet took the round of the area and also interacted with people around. They shared their experience with us about the newly opened Rajniganda Chowk.

“The commuters are content and happy as the traffic is moving smoothly now without any trouble. Earlier, the signals were not working properly and we use to give directions to the traffic using our hands. Now even the signals are working and everyone is following them, quite satisfied with the opening of this Chowk”, said Rakesh Kumar, traffic police, Sector 18.

“I have been here for 8 long years and before today, I have never seen this place functioning so smoothly. For the first time, there is no traffic jam at this place. Though it is raining heavily, there is no problem of water logging in this area. Happy to see this place developing after so many years”, said Dilip Kumar, roadside vendor, Sector 18.
“Finally, we can cross this road without much traffic. Earlier, this area used to be fully packed with vehicles and it was a mess all the time. Now all is well at Rajniganda Chowk”, said Sahil, resident of Sector 28.
