Noida: Number games are unique and interesting when observed as the 31st edition of the ongoing annual India International Trade Fair (IITF) registered a whopping 31,000 visitors on the fourth day which remain reserved for business and trade visitors for the first five days.
Visitors from business class carried out trading activities with full enthusiasm on Thursday as well. This resulted in hustle and bustle in all the pavilions and halls.
Carpets from Bhadohi in the Uttar Pradesh pavilion have become centre of attraction. Hamp (Jute Rugs), synthetic, fancy carpets are attracting visitors. Jute rugs carpets are available at a reasonable price. “We have plenty to offer for the common people this time,” says Ahmad, craftsman.
A number of craftsman from ‘Fashion House Lucknow’ have arrived with their collection of chikan work, designer shirts, saris and kurti at the fair. Chikan work of Lucknow is perhaps one of the most popular embroidery works in India.
Chikan work on Zardozi, Chanderi and Kota is catching everyone attention. “This time we have have done chikan work on Khadi as well, says Shikha, zardozi worker. IITF-2011 will open for general public from November 19 to 27.
